After cleaning out a pumpkin of its sticky pulp and seeds either for roasting for carving it out as a Halloween pumpkin, don’t throw out the pumpkin seeds. Wash them and roast them in the oven. Pumpkin seed are very nutritious and make for a healthy snack.

After you have separated the seeds from the sticky pulp, the easiest way to wash them is in a strainer. Roast them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. Turn them over at about the half-way point of baking so they can bake more evenly. Simple and fairly quick to do.

Pumpkin seeds are delicious without any flavorings but if you wish, you can add a variety of different seasonings and flavors for added taste.
