Harley Pasternak has 150 celebrities as his personal training clients including Lady Gaga, Halle Berry… just to name a few and he will be hosting an ABC talk show to air very shortly to share what he knows on TV with his audience.
Harley Pasternak has been very successful with his fitness and health system in transforming the lives of many Hollywood celebrities and musicians. Getting celebrities be they actors or musicians to be in shape, look and feel great for the cameras.
In his book 5-Factor Fitness he shows you how you too can look and feel great like many of these celebrities. His approach is simple and nothing new, but it’s the way he presents his fitness and nutrition system to his clients and his readers. By eating 5 meals a day and working out 5 times per week for only 25 minutes each day, you too can lose weight, gain strength and feel healthier. His book is all about lifestyle choices. It’s the proper balance between eating right and exercising for the right amount of time to achieve one’s health and fitness goals. In his book he shows you how you can accomplish these lifestyle choices.
With respect to proper eating he mentions that you should eat foods that are low in fat, high in quality protein, eat a moderate amount of carbohydrates and include fiber and healthy fat in your diet. He also urges that you stay away from beverages loaded with sugar. You can do this by eating 5 meals a day and he has plenty of recipes that are healthy and quick, easy to prepare. According to Harley Pasternak, by eating 5 small meals a day, you will boost your metabolism and consequently you will lose weight.
He also has a simple and effective exercise workout. The exercise routine can be done at home or at the gym using free weights, while for cardio, it’s up to you. Basically the investment is minimal. Probably your best choice would be to join a gym for a nominal cost, plus you have the benefit of all the equipment you need at your fingertips. The only drawback is: Would it be possible for you to find the time to visit the gym 5 days a week? Personally speaking, for me, it would be difficult to find the time to go to the gym 5 days per week. You may want to make a nominal investment in a set of dumbbells and a weight training bench for your home.
The workout itself involves just 5 minutes of cardio, 10 minutes of strength training, 5 minutes of core workout and 5 more minutes of cardio exercise.
Overall, this is an excellent book and has gotten very good reviews on TV and elsewhere in the media. To have 150 celebrities and counting as his clients, he does know what he is talking about. Give his system a try. Remember, it will only work for you or anyone if you stay dedicated to your goals and you don’t cheat the system.
